Would high school students be able to drink while on a field trip to Italy

Would high school students be able to drink while on a field trip to Italy?
I am an 18 year old high school student from the United States and my class is going to Italy this spring for a field trip. Some of my friends and I were wondering if we would be able to drink while we were out un Italy. What are the drinking age limits in Italy? Are there any restrictions on us drinking because we're Americans?

There is no law stating a limit of age for drinking any kind of alcoholic drink, art 689 Codice Penale forbids serving alcoholic drinks to minors under 16 in public places like restaurants, pubs, etc. A proposal to increase the purchasing age to 18 has been rejected by parliament in 2007. Your teachers may be risking their jobs if they allow you to drink, its not just about the law. When I was 12 years old we went to France (from UK) where we were allowed to drink wine, but the teachers made us keep the bottles off the tables, I think so they would not be in a photos

You can drink. My school [UK] go around europe all the time. The teachers don't enjoy it, but who cares. They impose restrictions on you such as being 'home' at a certain time. But no, no laws stopping you. Its legal! Enjoy

There is no law about you drinking but since you are traveling with you school you are required to follow the rules they set out. If you are drinking your chaperones could cause problems for you when you return. You could get suspended from school. If your chaperones are cool then you probably will be able to sample and drink a little as long as you act responsibly and appropriately and don't get piss ass drunk. You are of legal drinking age in Italy though.

I'm going to italy for four months with a school program, what do you think my baggage allowance will be

I'm going to italy for four months with a school program, what do you think my baggage allowance will be?
I'll be in Italy from September to December. I'm not sure what airline we are going on yet but does anyone have a rough idea what kind of baggage limits there are for people traveling for four months?

two large luggage's

No. You get the same luggage allowance whether you are going for a week or a year. The airline does not care about how long you are going for just how much the bags weigh.

What to pack for a school skiing trip

What to pack for a school skiing trip?
Next year in february I'm going on a school trip to Italy but don't know what to pack. It will be for about a week and it shouldn't be too cold. A complete kit list would be really handy but any advise would be welcome. Also does anyone have any recommended ski kit or suppliers for ski wear that are fairly cheap but good? Is ebay any good for ski wear? p.s. I do have to pack a helmet.

Yes bring a helmet you never know what will happen Books/ Magazines Ebay is very good I got a ski jacket the other day that was 79.99 for 35.99 brand new and designer This will sound weird but bring apples for the journey they make you feel so refreshed as they have more caffeine than coffee, believe me on this one they work :L Jeans Jumpers Scarves Gloves Thermal socks/underwear/gloves Lipbalm lips get extremly chapped in cold weather Sunscreen the glare from the snow can burn you just as bad as somewhere hot 2 pairs of skiing gloves it's amazing how you can easily lose gloves up their I don't know how your getting their but a pillow for the transports always handy, neck ache can kill Painkillers don't want to spend your trip in pain Plasters/ Blister plasters ski boots can rub Also plug sockets so that you can plug all your appliances into their sockets. That's all that comes to my mind at the moment, I'm going on a school ski trip to Andorra next week been on two other ski trips already so I'm just sharing what I found helps :) I've also been to Italy skiing in February the weather wasn't that cold either :) Hope you have a great time, I'm sure you will :)
