I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 and I am going to school in Italy soon and want to bring my laptop.?
What do i need in order to use my laptop in Europe?

An international AC adapter that converts the current to 120V (so you can plug in your laptop power supply)

your laptop will work anywhere with wifi :)

probably one of the power cord tip that is compatable with the one that europe is using

You will need a network wi-fi connection point, along with the right outlet plug in for the walls. I think you can get them from dell.

You'll need the correct AC plug for European outlets and voltage. Some plugs for the computer connection are already capable of making the switch by using an adapter from Dell. Contact them to see what you need. So many people travel with computers these days, the manufacturers make it easy to take them abroad.

does school in italy have holidays in some months

does school in italy have holidays in some months?
like here in the uk we get 1 week holiday in one month and sometimes we get 2 weeks holiday like on april..........does schools in italy operates the same way??? need to know!

Hi, our schools close during the summer from the end of June to the beginning of September. Every administrative region has its own calendar. They also close on Christmas holidays from 21st-2nd of December to the 7th of January. Easter weekend is another short holiday. Then we have the one day national celebrations like: 1st of May, 2nd of June, 1st of November. Hope this can help. myahooo!

how does it work to move from a school in Italy to an elementary school in USA?
It is possible that I have to move to N.J. from Italy with my family, I have 3 children and the bigger one is 9 years old attending the 4th grade, does anyone know if she is going to lose the year, she speaks just a little bit of english, or if they are going to put her in the right grade and give her additional english classes. Please give me some advices...thank you

when i moved to the united states in 1999 when i was 5 years old,i stayed back in the 1st grade because i did not know how to speak english that well then my parents hired a language teacher to help me.i never stayed back ever since and now i'm in the 8th grade
